Västmanlands-Dala nation has the honor of inviting you to the highlight of the autumn – Gurkbalen on November 4!

Every V-Darling already knows that the Falukorvsball is an established concept, but to balance out this Dala dominance, we are organizing a ball in Västmanland’s honour for the third year in a row; and what has had greater cultural significance in Västmanland than the Västerås cucumber? Did you know, for example, that the Västerås cucumber, or Frilandsgurkan as it is also called, began to be cultivated in Västerås after the city fire in 1714, which made room for the cultivation?

There will be a fresh and refreshing three-course dinner packed with cucumber, suitable drinks for the food and crispy entertainment all evening long.

Did I hear rave party on the 04-släpp after the Gurkbal? That’s right!
When the ball is finished and put away, Tobi Eklund will enter the DJ booth on the main stage to give you a släpp you won’t forget for a long time. But how do we know that? Well, because he did it last year, and is just as keen to do it again!

During the släpp there will also be a small dance floor, karaoke all night and three bars open for those who are thirsty. Don’t forget to drink water because on November 4, V-Dala will be on fire!
